This is a cream jug in the very popular retired Denby Midnight pattern. Midnight was made over a number of years and some of the pieces changed shape during that time. Another taller cream jug was made. This is the short version, approximately the same shape as a tea cup.

Denby Pottery's Midnight pattern has always been popular. The background blue is a beautiful rich colour that is reminiscent of the many fabulous blue ranges that Denby have created over the years. The understated patterning just lifts the blue colouring slightly and adds to its appeal.
