QueensQueens China, a brand name of Churchill since the mid 1990s, can actually be traced back to the late 1800s, when George Warrilow & Sons moved into the Queens Pottery in Longton. In 1941 Rosina China bought the pottery and it continued to trade under the Queens brand. In 1984 the business was absorbed by Churchill Tableware Ltd who still produce pottery today with the Queens China backstamp, albeit no longer from the Queens Pottery itself.
