This is a striking Denby Midnight oval serving dish or roasting dish. It has lugged handles at either end. Serving ware in Midnight, while not as difficult to get as plates and bowls, is still quite rare. 

Denby Pottery's Midnight pattern has always been popular. The background blue is a beautiful rich colour that is reminiscent of the many fabulous blue ranges that Denby have created over the years. The understated patterning just lifts the blue colouring slightly and adds to its appeal.
