Denby Ode Vinegar Bottle (Yellow Stopper)

This is the very rare vinegar bottle or vinegar jug in the long discontinued tableware range of Ode, manufactured by Denby Pottery. It has a yellow ceramic stopper. 

NB. Items listed in Excellent condition include a working and intact cork insert to the stopper. 

Ode was first produced by Denby Pottery in the 1960's. It was coloured in antique gold, and plates and some other items were further decorated with a Greek Key pattern in white. This very attractive pattern received a Gold Medal for Excellence at the California State Fair in America. Sadly, production of the pattern was discontinued many years ago, so items have now become very difficult to obtain in good condition.
