This is the lidded handled soup dish in the ever popular Canterbury pattern, produced by Denby Pottery and Langley Pottery. Sadly this piece is misisng it's lid, but to be honest our soup is never in them long enough to get cold anyway!

Canterbury is one of the patterns that were already being produced at the Langley plant when it was taken over by Denby Pottery. Denby continued its production and thus some items have the Denby stamp and some have the Langley stamp. The bottom line is that the range was discontinued many years ago and it has become very difficult to find items in good condition. Make sure that you order your requirements while we have such excellent examples in stock.
