A truly charming mug from Hornsea Pottery. It was designed by children at Hornsea Primary School to celebrate the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana in 1981. Around the top of the front of the mug is inscribed in a reproduction of the children's writing "Prince Charles is marrying Lady Diana because she is pretty". A sentiment straight from a loyal heart. The mug stands approximately 3.5" tall and has a diameter across the top  of just over 3". It is in excellent condition.
