This is the tea plate in the ever popular Poppy pattern from J & G Meakin. The shape of the plates changed over the years with later plates having a narrower rim and earlier ones such as these a wider rim. Many customers have a mixture of both.

The production of Poppy was discontinued by J & G Meakin many years ago. As a result, items have now become very difficult to obtain in good condition. Make sure that you top up your collection while we have such quality items available.
