This is the scarce open oval serving dish in the Johnson Brothers discontinued range of Eternal Beau. This is the version with a plain exterior and interior with no fluting. 

Eternal Beau is a readily recognised shape (octagonal plates and saucers) and pattern was sold in enormous quantities, and although production has ceased, the popularity seems to go on and on. Buy extras or replacements while they are still available.
