This is the very difficult to find large oval platter in the Argosy pattern, manufactured by Poole Pottery. 

Argosy is one of the patterns that Poole Pottery produced as a variation on the "Parkstone" range. Argosy has the same background colouring as Parkstone, but has additional patterning.
