This is the attractive and very scarce lidded serving dish in the Blue Vine range manufactured by Poole Pottery. As shown on the photograph the patterning on the lid is slightly non standard but this is not unusual with this pattern.

Blue Vine was introduced by Poole Pottery in 1994. It was very similar to the Blue Leaf pattern introduced at about the same time, but had the addition of blue grape bunches in the patterning and often had more of the blue mottling effect on the body of items. Many of our clients now mix and match the two patterns to great effect. The production of both patterns was discontinued by Poole Pottery many years ago.
