Poole Pottery Chestnut Flat Topped Tea Pots
Elegant and practical tea pots from the popular Chestnut range of Poole Pottery. These are the flat lidded tea pots that were produced earlier than the pots with the more rounded lids that had knob handles on them. The original idea was that similar pots could be stored by stacking them on top of each other. These tea pots stand just under 6." tall. These Chestnut items are in very good condition.
Chestnut was one of the "Compact" series of patterns, designed by Robert Jefferson and first produced by Poole Pottery in the mid 1960's. It was a very practical style, designed to stack easily and safely. The range was discontinued by Poole Pottery many years ago and has now become very difficult to obtain in good condition. Do not miss the opportunity to purchase these rare items.
