Poole Pottery Country Lane Coffee Cup

This is the very pretty little demi-tasse coffee cup in the scarce Country Lane pattern from Poole Pottery. Please note that these are not the tea cups. They are much smaller, ideal for that stronger coffee infusion after dinner. 

Country Lane was designed by Robert Jefferson was produced by Poole Pottery in the late 70's and early 80's. Poole used the pattern to produce tableware in their popular "Style" shape and also produced a range of giftware including vases, spice jars, bowls etc.

The pattern was not produced in such large quantities as some of the other ranges of the time and as a result it has become difficult to find it in good condition.
