Poole Pottery Hand Painted Traditional Pedestal Bowl in the BL Pattern

A beautifully hand painted pedestal bowl in the rarely seen "BL" pattern produced by Poole Pottery. We have been unable to identify the painters mark but we believe that the item is dated in the 40's or 50's. Please view the photgraphs to to decide if you agree. The bowl has a diameter across its top of just under 8.5" and it stands 4.5" tall. This item is in very good condition for its age and shows some fine crazing on careful examination.

These hand painted items are now becoming very difficult to find in good condition. Enjoy owning such a lovely item and give it pride of place in your display.
