Poole Pottery Sherwood Breakfast/Salad Plates

Very attractive breakfast/dinner plates (you have our permission to use them for either purpose) in the Sherwood pattern, manufactured by Poole Pottery. The plates have a diameter of approximately eight and a half  inches. These Sherwood items are in excellent condition.

Thistlewood was one of several variants that Poole Pottery produced, based on their Broadstone pattern. The Compact shape and the background colour and glaze are identical to Broadstone, but it is decorated with the attractive Sherwood pattern.

Sherwood and the other variations were not made in such large quantities as the basic Broadstone pattern, and were discontinued at an earlier stage. Hence the great difficulty in finding items of this pattern in good condition. Do not miss out on the chance to purchase these scarce Sherwood items.
