This is a hard to find Poole Pottery stoneware sculpture of an otter.  This Poole Pottery otter was designed by Barbara Linley-Adams and produced from 1975 to 1978. Please see the photographs to view the back stamp on the base.

Poole ceased producing this stoneware range several years ago. The stoneware style has now become very much sought after by Poole Pottery collectors. As a result, the prices have soared in recent years and items are becoming very difficult to obtain in such excellent condition.
