A beautiful Poole Pottery stoneware sculpture of a sparrow on a wheat ear. It stands just under 3.8" tall and is in excellent condition.Please see the photographs to view the back stamp on the base. This item was modelled by Barbara Linley-Adams and produced from 1980 to 1984, and is one of the less common items in this range.

Poole ceased producing this stoneware range several years ago. The stoneware style has now become very much sought after by Poole Pottery collectors. As a result, the prices have soared in recent years and items are becoming very difficult to obtain in such good condition.
