This is a versatile bowl in this version of the Terracotta range, designed for Poole Pottery by Rachel Barker. They have blue rims with no motif.

This is one of the very distinctive ranges from Poole where they have deliberately used bristle marking as a feature of the decor. The degree of brush marking varies considerably from piece to piece.

The Terracotta range was produced with varied patterning and had a relatively short production run. As a result it has now become very difficult to obtain in excellent condition.
