Very useful and attractive lidless serving dishes in the Thistlewood pattern produced by Poole Pottery.  These Thistlewood items are in excellent condition. These dishes have a diameter across the top of approximately 8.75" and stand approximately 3" tall. They do not have lids.

Thistlewood was one of several variants that Poole Pottery produced, based on their Broadstone pattern. The Compact shape and the background colour and glaze are identical to Broadstone, but it is decorated with the attractive Thistlewood pattern. Thistlewood and the other variations were not made in such large quantities as the basic Broadstone pattern, and were discontinued at an earlier stage. Hence the great difficulty in finding items of this pattern in good condition. Do not miss out on the chance to purchase these scarce Thistlewood items.
