This is a spare top for the hard to find cheese dish in Poole Pottery Mushroom & Sepia, one of the Twintone designs. Available in a number of different shapes this is the version which sits on a flat oblong plate (sometimes mushroom, sometimes sepia). 

Poole Pottery ceased production of Twintone Mushroom and Sepia in the 1980's, so items have now become difficult to obtain in excellent condition. Make sure that you purchase your Mushroom and Sepia requirements before we sell out of this popular pattern.
