Poole Pottery, Twintone, Red Indian and Magnolia (C95) Lidded Biscuit Barrel

A lidded biscuit barrel in the Poole Pottery Red Indian and Magnolia (C95) colouring from the Twintone range. The base of the biscuit barrel stands just over 4.25" tall and has a diameter across its top of approximately 4.5". This very scarce item is in generally good condition with some inevitable ware to the cane handle. On close inspection there is a minor flaw on the top rim of the barrel. Having examined it carefully we believe that this was a manufacturing flaw rather than later damage. The flaw can be seen on the secondary photograph that we have attached. We have adjusted the price accordingly. 

The Red Indian and Magnolia range was only produced by Poole Pottery from approximately 1950 to 1956, and is now rarely seen.
