This is the teapot in Mushroom and Sepia from Poole Pottery in the Contour shape. This is the version where the teapot lid fits on top of the teapot (see photograph). Poole later produced a version (still in the Contour shape) where lid  fitted lower down just inside the neck of the teapot.

Poole Pottery ceased production of Twintone Mushroom and Sepia in the 1980's, so items have now become difficult to obtain in good condition. Make sure that you purchase your requirements in this popular pattern while we still have quality items available.
