This is the standard sized tea cup in the Toast pattern produced by Purbeck Pottery. 

Purbeck Pottery from Dorset has long been renowned for its production of attractive and hard wearing tableware. It has become a favourite both in homes and in restaurants and hotels. Toast was produced and sold in large quantities but its manufacture was discontinued several years ago. It has now become quite difficult to obtain items in good condition.
