This is the 3.5 pint oval covered casserole dish from the Florinda range, pattern code LS1042, manufactured by Royal Doulton. Unfortunately, this item is missing it's lid and is therefore, sold a spare bottom (or an attractive flower pot ;) )

The production of Florinda was discontinued by Royal Doulton many years ago. Items of this lovely pattern are now very difficult to find in such excellent condition.
