This is a sauce or gravy jug from the Florinda range, pattern code LS1042, manufactured by Royal Doulton. These jugs have a pouring lip on either side, making them suitable for use by both left and right handed people.

The production of Florinda was discontinued by Royal Doulton many years ago. Items of this lovely pattern are now very difficult to find in such excellent condition.
