Poole Pottery Hand Painted Traditional Jam Pot in the "KW" Pattern

A very pretty jam pot in the traditional hand painted pottery, manufactured by Poole Pottery in their "KW" pattern. The base of the pot has a diameter across its top of just over 2.75" and is approximately 3" tall. It really is in excellent condition. The colours are fresh and the painting is of good quality and this will be a worthy addition to any collection.

We believe, from marks on the base of the plate, that it was produced between 1959 and 1967 and decorated by Josephine Sydenham. However we claim no expertise in ascribing particular artists so we invite you to view the photograph showing the backstamp and decorators marks on the reverse of the plate.
