Poole Pottery Hand Painted Traditional Jam Pot in the RA Pattern
A very attractive hand painted lidded jam pot from Poole Pottery in their traditional style. The pot is in the "RA" pattern. The bowl of the pot has a diameter across its top of approximately 3.25" and the integrated saucer/plate has a diameter of approximately 5.25". From the marks on the base we believe that the pot was produced between 1952 and 1955, and was possibly painted by Mary Stainer. However, please view the photographs of those marks yourself to ensure that you agree with our attribution. This really is a beautifully painted item and deserves pride of place in any display. This pot is in excellent condition, without any damage or repair.
These hand painted Poole Pottery pieces from the 50's are now becoming very difficult to find in good condition. Enjoy owning such a lovely item and give it pride of place in your display.
