Poole Pottery Melbury Eared Serving Dishes

Very attractive eared serving/gratin dishes from the Melbury pattern produced by Poole  Pottery. These Melbury  dishes measure approximately twelve and a half inches from the outside of one eared handle to the outside of the opposite eared handle. They are in very good condition.

Melbury was produced on the "Compact" shape and involved an attractive transfer pattern being added to the plain  "Lakestone" range. For this reason many of our clients now mix and match the two patterns to great effect. Melbury was not produced in such large numbers as some of the other Compact ranges and is therefore quite difficult to obtan in good condition.
