An incredibly attractive and very rare Poole Pottery stoneware sculpture of a seated cat. It is approximately 10.5" in height.  It is in excellent condition without damage or repair.  Please see the photographs to view the back stamp on the base where you will see the mark of Nicola Massarella. 

This is certainly one of the more sought after pieces of Poole Pottery stoneware and examples seldom become available.

Poole ceased producing this stoneware range many years ago.
