A stunning little mug from Poole Pottery in the traditional hand painted style. This item stands approximately 4" tall and has a diameter across the top of just under 3".It is in very good condition, although on careful inspection, there is some degree of crazing in the glaze on the inside of the mug. This does little to detract from the appeal of this beautifully painted item.  We are not sure of the date of this Poole Pottery item but believe that it will have been produced in the 40's or 50's. Please view the photographs of the backstamp and painter's mark on the base to make up your own mind on its age and decorator.
