Poole Pottery, Wimborne Gravy Jugs and Stands

Very pretty gravy/sauce jugs on their saucers/stands, in the Wimborne pattern produced by Poole Pottery.

Of all the items in the rare Wimborne range, the gravy jug is amongst the most difficult to find. The range was produced in the "Compact" shape (as per Chestnut, Choisya, Azure, Parkstone, Broadstone etc) and is now seldom seen. The original production run was shorter than that of some of its contemporaries.
