Poole Pottery, Wimborne Standard Milk Jugs

Very attractive milk jugs in the Wimborne pattern produced by Poole Pottery. These jugs stand approximately four and a half inches tall and they have a capacity of about half a pint.

Of all the items in the rare Wimborne range, the jugs are amongst the most difficult to find. The range was produced in the "Compact" shape (as per Chestnut, Choisya, Azure, Parkstone, Broadstone etc) and is now seldom seen. The original production run was shorter than that of some of its contemporaries.
