Poole Pottery Traditionally Hand Painted Biscuit Barrel

A splendid biscuit barrel from Poole Pottery in the traditional hand painted style. This item stands just over 5" tall to the top of the knob on the lid. The back stamp indicates that the mug was produced between 1952 and 1955. The paintress's mark appears to be that of Sheila Jenkins who worked at the factory between 1949 and 1961.
